Advertisement Making Competition

Theme:Select any one (Indian / Continental / Italian / Mexican / Chinese)

Number of Participants:4 to 5 Students

Time Allotted: 3 mins for enactment

Rules:

1. There will be a preparation of an advertisement on a given product. Product will be assigned 3 days prior to the event through the email id of your principal. The maximum time for enactment on stage will be 3 minutes.
2. The caution should be taken to refrain from displaying obscenity, violence, prejudice, defamation etc. in Advertisement.
3. Participants will have to choose any one theme from the above given themes.
4. Participant will have to carry his/her own ingredients, tools and props for presentation.
5. The contestants are strictly advised not to disclose the name of their School / Institution to the Jury members / audience.
6. The decision of Judges will be final and binding.
7. In case participants exceed the time limit, Judges will be free to deduct the marks/disqualify the team.
8. The contestant may opt for a suitable dress code, however, the name of the School/Institution should not be displayed on the dresses in any form.
9. The organizing Committee reserves the right to change the venue, time and rules, if desired.

The objective of the event is to provide a platform to students from various schools to showcase and demonstrate their skills and talent in Culinary art.

Rules:

1. Participants are required to prepare following dishes matching the selected theme keeping in the mind that no flame will be used at the Venue:-
   • One Welcome Drink.
   • One Starter.
   • One Main course along with one accompaniment
   • One Dessert.
   (No cooking range will be provided for cooking at the venue)
2. All the teams participating in the competition should reach the venue 30 minutes before the start of the competition
3. Participants will have to choose any one theme from the above given themes.
4. Participant will have to carry his/her own ingredients, tools and props for presentation.
5. Props will have to be brought by the participants according to the theme.
6. Participants are required to display the recipe of the dishes for judges' assessment.
7. Each team is required to bring their own cutlery and crockery for the presentation of dishes.

Robot Race

Number of Participants: 4 per team

Time Allotted: 5 minutes

Dress Code: School Uniform

Rules:

1. Robot size must be less than or equal to 40* 40* 40(L*B*H) cubic cm and 5Kg with weapon size 50*50*50 Cubic cm.
2. Two robots will fight at a time.
3. A robot will be declared immobile if it cannot display linear motion of at least 5 inch in a time period of 30 seconds.
4. Each team will have to use a one meter pipe above the boat and all the wires should be inside that pipe.
5. A team will be winner if it throws the opponent robot out of arena three times or damage it within 5 minutes.
6. At the time of the event there may be surprise changes in the arena.

Debate Competition

Theme:“Our Education System is Effective in the Modern World”

Number of Participants:2(one-For the motion and One – Against the motion)

Time Allotted: 2+1 minutes to each speaker

Dress Code: School Uniform

Rules:

1. The participant will speak either 'For' or 'Against' the motion.
2. The best speaker will be chosen as the winner.

Debater's Content, Persuasion, Fluency, Delivery Skills

On the spot Poster Making Competition

Theme:Any principle of science

Number of Participants: 4

Time Allotted: 2 Hours

Dress Code: School Uniform

Rules:

1. One chart paper will be provided by the organizers.
2. Use of Poster colors, water colors, oil pastels and pencil colors is allowed. A combination of these can also be used. Stick-on or pasting is also permitted.
3. The poster must be supported with a slogan.
4. Any one participant must speak about the theme for one minute.
Poster can be 3D also using material like cotton straw, thermocol balls, handmade sheet or any other kind of paper, egg shell, plaster of Paris etc.
5. Except chart paper other required materials to be brought by the participating team.
6. Participants should be prepared for cross questioning.

Creativity, Innovative Ideas, Overall Presentation, Interpretation of The Theme

Science projcet making competition

Theme : Any principle of science

Number of Participants : 4

Time Allotted : 2 Hours

Dress Code : School Uniform

Rules:

1. Participants will bring required material for the project.
2. All material for the project to be assembled at the venue.
3. One participant from each group will speak on the project explaining the scientific principle involved in it.
4. Cross questioning will be done by the judges.
5. The participants may bring charts etc. to enhance their explanation.
6. The teams are requested to bring their batter y eliminator etc. if required. No request for equipments (electrical/electronic/lab apparatus) will be entertained.

Judgment criteria:

Principle and Creativity, Technical Skill and Craftsmanship, Presentation, Knowledge about the Topic.

Computer LAN Gaming

Number of Participants : 1

Dress Code : School Uniform

Rules:

1. Single player game
2. Average per match timing - 5 minutes
3. 4 players will be playing in one group
4. Total 12 groups will be allowed

Strategy - Level 1

1. All 12 groups will be playing simultaneously.
2. The top scorer from each group, will be picked for the next level.

Strategy - Level 2

1. There will be total 3 groups (4 members in each), picked from level one.
2. All 3 groups will be playing simultaneously.
3. The top scorer from each group, will be picked for the next level.

Strategy - Level 3

1. The 3 top scorers from level 2 will be competing individually for the final round of the game.

General Quiz

Number of Participants : 2

Time alloted : 2 hours

Dress Code : School Uniform

Rules:

1. The decision of the quiz-master will be final and will not be subjected to any change.
2. The participants shall not be allowed to use mobile or other electronic instruments.

Round 1

A question will be asked to a team and if they are unable to answer it will be passed to the next team.

Round 2

Rapid Fire Round: -Each team will be asked 10 questions one after another in one minute's time.

Round 3

Buzzer Round- A question will be fired & the team who presses the buzzer first get to answer first.

Round 4

Audio-visual round -Teams will be shown clips and will have to answer.
